Analogous | Read In-between the Lines ; explores the relationship between the image, that creates the artwork and the title given to this artwork. What is it that goes through the artist’s mind when giving a name to what they have created, how much is in the title that represents the work. How much does the artist want the audience to read between image and words and what lies in-between the lines where the title sits just below the image. The exhibition is also an all women show, not only is it meant to boggle us with questions, but it celebrates women printmakers through the prints on show. Themes of identity, self-love, self-acceptance, and awareness amongst others invites the audience on a journey to ask questions, discover and learn, at the end hopefully they have read in-between the lines and the message of the artist has been delivered.
