ConcordIa, and the protype chart of Sankt Gallen im Herbst* which appears on the right-hand side of the same folio, refer to pieces I wrote. Both appear on CD releases for the hanmerecords label: Concordia being the title track of a solo piano album and Sankt Gallen im Herbst being one of the tracks on a duo album for clarinet and piano, entitled ‘Morning into Evening’.

It seemed natural to have the charts for these pieces rendered in lithograph and screenprint. Through the means of these prints, I hope to highlight a special value which might apply to my manuscripts; whose sole purpose has thus far been to render my musical ideas both tangible and clearly accessible to musicians.
