My work currently explores the discomfort that death brings to my experience of life. I have experimented with various photographic  print techniques, such as cyanotype and lithography, using photography to incorporate images of dead creatures I find in my immediate environment Johannesburg. This approach gives prominence to the impermanence of life and our struggle as humans to confront the void of silence.

In 2018, I survived a suicide attempt, an experience that profoundly altered my perspective on life and my artistic expression. Through my body of work, I seek to capture moments of death and raise questions about its nature. Yet, death remains elusive, offering only the promise of the unknown, where the afterlife is shrouded in the blackness of emptiness.
