I am immersed in my work that is in search of understanding land as an identity of a man. My work has been influenced by memory of the past and present, constructing narratives and scenes which are questioning the future of our land. “I wonder what happened to my homeland?” I am just a rejected receiver questioning.  I gravitate to investigate politics and religion that are a cause of delusion and split my society. My work explores the intersection of oneness, spirituality and culture.

Through this series title: “Unresolved Issues “I attempt to capture the essence of our forefather’s inability to address ownership of land in my society. I explore the complex problems of my South African history, through the integration of landscapes. The geographical context of my work is based on family matters and spiritual battles. My people still suffer in different forms, which proves to me that reconciliation is just a myth.
