Artist Proof Studio at 35: Archive, Scale and Continuity

Artist Proof Studio’s presentation at FNB Art Joburg marks 35 years of printmaking excellence, collaboration and artist development. Bringing together selected archival works, newly released editions and significant large-scale prints, the presentation traces the Studio’s history while positioning APS firmly within contemporary printmaking.

Monumental and technically ambitious works demonstrate the scale and possibilities of the medium, as well as the expertise of the APS Professional Print Studio. Presented alongside archival works, established artists and a new generation of emerging artists, the exhibition reflects how knowledge, techniques and artistic practices continue to develop and be passed between generations.

The presentation celebrates what APS has built since 1991 while looking forward through new collaborations, technical excellence and the next generation of South African artists.
