Collection: Nkosana Nhlapo

My grandfather was my guardian who instilled a sense of morality into his family and the greater community. Inspired by his work-ethic and status in the community, I have tried to capture these values into my own work. The old man is a significant feature in my images and he is often shown as the story-teller. The maps track movement and growth. My work is about guidance, showing direction and tracking the growth and movement that comes from taking on responsibility.
