My work is about my resilience towards Gender Based Violence. I am motivated by the huge crime rate of abuse in South Africa. Most of the people I know have been victims of this kind of cruel abuse. I am inspired by roses and figures, which are a symbol for strength, femininity, beauty and a ribbon of unity for women. This body of work talks about the healing process and protection needed on the victims and how cruel the world of people promoting violence towards women and children are.
