JOIN OUR SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMME & SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF EMERGING ARTISTS

Over the years APS has built an excellent reputation as the place to go for emerging talent, with enormous growth and investment potential for galleries and investors alike. The work is remarkable in execution and quality, affordable and vibrant. APS raises funds in various ways to support its core function of offering quality arts education to young people who have little access to formal training for financial or other reasons.

 

APS PATRONS, FUNDERS & PARTNERS

Over the years APS has built an excellent reputation as the place to go for emerging talent, with substantial growth and investment potential for galleries and investors alike. The work is remarkable in execution and quality, affordability and vibrancy. APS subsidises 50+ young artists to attend classes and have access to printing their work in the studio. APS raises funds to support its core function of offering quality arts education to young people who have limited access to formal training for financial or other reasons. Fundraising is facilitated through the sale of prints, funding support, corporate commissions and patron support.

Through our corporate sponsorship programme, bursary support programme and individual student patron programme, we invite your partnership to support us in our mission of “excellence through possibility” where aspiring artists reach for their dreams.

BENEFITS OF BEING A SPONSOR/PARTNER

  • All sponsors receive a section 18A Certificate
  • APS qualifies as a Socio-Economic Development (SED) recipient and level 4 BEE contributor with 100% black beneficiaries thereby adding to the benefits of your BBEEE scorecard
  • Each sponsor receives artwork from the artists you support that will grow into a sizable art collection to fill the walls of your offices. Many of these works appreciate in value with the development and success of the emerging artists you support.

SPONSORSHIP LEVELS

APS BURSARY FUND DONOR

To assist students in need of basic support subsidies and registration fees, a bursary programme was set up in 2019. For deserving students, we assist with:

  • Transport stipends to ensure that they are able to get to APS
  • Money for material so students can produce additional work to generate income
  • Assistance with annual registration fees (which includes a kit of basic tools)

Benefits of being a Bursary Fund Donor:

  • Section 18A certificate
  • Contributors are gifted artworks by their emerging artist beneficiaries (Benefactor is a donor)
  • Sponsors share in the experience of a developing young artists and contribute to their success

APS CORPORATE PARTNER

If you are a company and would like to make a contribution towards the development of artistic excellence, you could make a contribution that goes directly into supporting what we do as an organisation through a corporate partnership. Your company can show its support through:

  • A monetary donation
  • Selecting APS as Service Provider for murals, artwork to supplement the décor of office spaces and/or commissioned artwork installations
  • In-Kind support – sharing skills and knowledge from the company in business planning
  • Inviting APS to do a pop-up event at your premises to include artwork sales, client gift prints and printmaking demonstrations and/or workshops

Benefits of being a corporate partner:

  • Each sponsor receives artwork from the artists you support that will grow into a sizable art collection to fill the walls of your homes & offices. Many of these works appreciate in value with the development and success of the emerging artists you support.
  • Provide skills development and workplace training for emerging artists through commissioning projects
  • Create networking opportunities through exhibitions and events
  • If your company values job creation and skills development; we welcome your partnership for in-kind support, training and internships of students for special skills, or collaborations in team building through group art activities such a print workshops and murals.
