Collection: Fleur de Bondt

What drives me as an artist is my desire to want to make people to do two things: look closer and think. I am fascinated by the ‘weather’ of the mind. My current work is stimulated by the malleable nature of experiential long term memory - our autobiographical memories - where upon recall, memory strengthening, and the formation of new associations fuse. I've explored this by not only interrogating my own memory but also through a process of documenting other people's personal history.
